, a troop leader in Racine, explained that cookie sales in this region are being done differently this year. Cookie sales will be direct, with no need to order and then wait for your cookies."When a Scout contacts you, they'll have the cookies with them right away," she said.
Cookies will be available in mid-January.

, all of the revenue earned from cookie activities stays with the local Girl Scout council that sponsors the sale. This includes the portion that goes directly to the group selling cookies.
