Patch Marlboro-ColtsNeck, NJ --An Atlantic Highlands man was indicted on charges he repeatedly sexually assaulted a teenager, according to a 13-count indictment handed up this week.
Wayne D. Woods, 40, is charged with a variety of criminal sex charges involving an underage girl dating back to 2010, according to the indictment.
Woods repeatedly assaulted the girl, sometimes restraining her and sometimes threatening her with a knife. He also threatened to expose the girl if she mentioned the attacks to others, according to the indictment.
Woods is charged with three counts of sexual assault, one count of aggravated sexual assault, one count of aggravated sexual contact, two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon, two counts of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, two counts of criminal coercion, one count of criminal restraint and one count endangering the welfare of a child, the indictment says.
He is listed as a prisoner of the Monmouth County jail, held in lieu of $1.12 million bail, according to jail records.
