Are you ready for some Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties and Savannah Smiles?
It's that time of year again.
Today is National Girl Scout Cookie Day and, starting Sunday, Girl Scouts will be in neighborhoods and in front of businesses, asking if you'd like to buy a box of cookies.
The Scouts have no scheduled tables in Dublin, but they will be in San Ramon from Feb. 10 to March 16. You can check out the schedule here.
The Girl Scouts will sell 11 types of cookies this year. Girl Scout cookies were first sold in 1917, five years after Juliette Gordon Low started the non-profit organization.
Scout leaders say the cookie sales not only raise money for the organization, but also teach girls how to run their own business. Reported by Patch 7 hours ago.
