A 14-year-old girl had to be cut free by the Jaws of Life Thursday morning after she managed to stuff herself into her school locker.
Fireman responded to Mother Teresa High School in Ottawa, Ontario, after the girl squeezed herself into her locker as a prank.
When firemen arrived, the girl was sitting down inside the locker and unable to get out.
“The student put herself in the locker as a prank and could not get out,” Mardi de Kemp, a spokeswoman for the Ottawa Catholic School Board, said in a statement.
Ottawa Fire Services spokesman Marc Messier said the girl had “backed herself into a locker.”
The girl appeared unharmed but was taken to Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario for examination.
She later returned to class.
